UNHCR places great importance on continuously improving collaborations with implementing and operational partners, particularly promoting national partners.UNHCR maintains strategic partnerships with partners to undertake programmes or projects that provide protection and solutions to people forced to flee.

In order to provide some services to refugees and asylum-seekers, UNHCR works with implementing and operational partners and partners with sister UN agencies to extend services and programmes to the refugee community in Egypt.
Implementing partners are funded by UNHCR. While operational partners do not receive funding from UNHCR, they play a crucial role in serving refugees.
